We’re here for you—with income-based respite service options to keep support within reach.
At Inspired Adult Care Services, we provide a non-medical respite and social engagement program designed for adults who benefit from daytime supervision, meaningful interaction, and companionship in a safe, welcoming environment. Our center offers a place for individuals who do not require 24-hour or medical care but would thrive in a structured, social setting surrounded by peers.
Who We Serve:
Age 55 and Older
Mild to Moderate Dementia: Ideal for individuals in the early to middle stages of dementia. Clients should be able to engage in social activities and benefit from cognitive stimulation without severe memory loss or challenging behaviors.
Ability to Walk or Use Assistive Devices: Clients should be able to move independently or with the assistance of a cane or walker. Our center is designed to accommodate those with limited mobility but who can still navigate the space with minimal support.
Self-Feeding Capabilities: Clients should be able to feed themselves independently or with minimal assistance. Our staff is available to provide help when needed, but we do not provide full assistance with eating or meal management.
Medication Assistance: Clients who take daily medications may receive friendly reminders and general oversight to help them stay on schedule. Our staff does not administer medications or perform any clinical procedures, ensuring our services remain non-medical and supportive in nature.
Social and Cognitive Engagement: Ideal for individuals who enjoy and benefit from social interaction with peers, participating in group activities, and engaging in activities that stimulate their cognitive abilities (e.g., games, arts and crafts, memory exercises).
No Severe Behavioral or Psychiatric Issues: We do not provide respite for individuals exhibiting severe behavioral challenges (e.g., aggression, violent tendencies) or those whose behaviors are managed with antipsychotic medications. Our focus is on providing a nurturing and calm environment.
Not Suitable for Clients Who:
Have severe dementia, including those who exhibit wandering behaviors, confusion, or require constant supervision due to a loss of judgment or cognitive abilities.
Require incontinence care or need assistance with toileting beyond light supervision.
Have complex medical needs or require ongoing medical monitoring or interventions during the day (e.g., feeding tubes, intravenous medication, etc.).
Are severely agitated, aggressive, or experience behavioral disturbances that require psychiatric intervention or antipsychotic medications.
